On Tuesday 30 May 2017, four of our Pre-Novices: Ajay Patrick Xess, Arun Arogya Raj, Pdang Garmylo and Justin Benny, entered into the canonical year of Novitiate in the community of Bengaluru during a simple religious ceremony, presided over by Fr. Devasia Puthiayaparambil, the Vicar Provincial. At the beginning of the ceremony, the Pre-Novices formally expressed their desire to enter into the Novitiate to experience the Pauline way of life, and they were warmly admitted into the Novitiate. During the homily, Fr Devasia highlighted the value of the special call they have received, the purpose of the call, the possibilities offered in the novitiate and the importance of making the right choice to live out their special vocation. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Fr. Anish, the new Novice Master, was introduced and the Novices were entrusted to his care. While congratulating the new Novice Master and the Novices, we pray for God’s blessing upon them for a fruitful year of Novitiate.
