Triple Workshops
SPICE Bengaluru organized workshops in Acting, Photography & Short Film Making on 16, 17 & 18 March 2017. The workshops provided wonderful opportunities for college students and Corporates to visit our campus and experience our facilities.
Mr T H Lava Kumar, Theatre Director and Assistant Professor from St Joseph College conducted the workshop on acting with interesting activities and fun. The Photography workshop was skillfully handled by Mr Saravanan, Cinematographer, Photographer, Film Maker and Academician. Mr Thambidurai, Engineer, Film-maker and Academician infused passion for short filmmaking in the participants with his vast experience and depth in cinema. The students from 13 different colleges and others attended the workshops.
During the workshop, participants were introduced to the SPICE, Bengaluru and ST PAULS COLLEGE and the media and management programmes we conduct in the campus. We also informed the participants about ST PAULS Summer Short-term Certificate Courses which would be launched mid-April 2017. The participants had positive feedback for all the workshops and expressed interest for PG courses and for Certificate courses. SPICE Bengaluru has promised to organize more such workshops in different areas of Media in the future.
SPICE Students Shine at AIMS
SPICE, Bengaluru students win their maiden prize at Acharya Institute of Management and Sciences (AIMS). Our B. Sc Film and Television Production students bagged second prize in short filmmaking competition organized by Vanijaya Darpan a popular Annual Commerce Exhibition and Fest 2017 at AIMS.
