St Pauls Free Health Camp was organized and conducted by St Pauls College on Sunday 9 April 2017 in the college campus. The inaugural function was presided over by Fr. Varghese, the Chairperson of St Pauls College and SPICE. Dr (Sr) Hellen, Gynecologist, Nirmala Hospital along with Dr (Sr) Lizy, Jothi Health Centre were the architects of this event. Dr (Sr) Chiathra, Infertility; Dr Samudata, Cancer Awareness and Mr. Jayanth, Red Cross, were also present to offer their valuable services during this event.

Many patients came from different walks of life and different parts of the city with real health issues. More than 400 persons visited the campus to witness St Pauls Free Health Camp.

Blood donation camp was another highlight of the day with 44 donors’ donating their blood. The donors included also the staff and the students of St Pauls Campus. Red Cross was immensely pleased with the camp and congratulated the management for organizing such a noble event in the Holy Week.

The event was organized with much planning. Announcements regarding the camp was mainly made in St Paul’s Church and many parishners made generous contribution for the success of the event. A special word of appreciation to Fr. Rony Lewis, Parish Priest of St Paul’s Church, for his encouragement and for involving the parishners in this noble cause. Congrats to Fr. Prithvi Raj, the Director of St Pauls College, the management, the staff and students for spending their time and energy to make this event memorable.
