FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING

The Finance Council (FC) held its annual meeting on 5th and 6th of June 2017 at St Pauls Provincialate. All the four members: Fr Jose Matthew (Coordinator), Fr Saju George, Fr Joby Mathew and Br Blaise Thadathil were present at the meeting. The Council took up the annual budget of each apostolic unit and community for study and evaluation. For the first time in the history of the Society of St Paul, the Council was able to look at the actual situation of each unit in 12 months. Until now, all decisions and evaluations were made on the basis of the financial statements of nine-months. FC is happy with the overall financial situation of the Province. Most of the individual units have performed well. After examining the budget proposals, they have made the necessary recommendations to the Provincial Council for approving certain proposals for the coming financial year. Our gratitude and appreciation to the team for this valuable service at the service of the Congregation.
