NEW OFFICE HOLDERS IN THE PROVINCE

With the beginning of the new scholastic year, the newly appointed office holders and newly transferred members have assumed their new responsibilities. Fr Francis Xavier, the newly ordained priest, has joined the community of New Delhi to assist in the St Pauls Int. Book Centre, Delhi; with his smiling disposition and youthful energy, he will carry out this apostolate of his choice for the greater glory of God. Fr. Mekala Punna Rao, another newly ordained priest, the first Pauline Priest from Andhra Pradesh, has joined the community of Mumbai as Assistant Director of St Pauls Multimedia; he will concentrate his time and energy especially in the audio-video production of the department; with his experience and interest, he will certainly carry out this apostolate efficiently. Fr Martin Obasi and Gerard Tanko, the newly ordained priests from Nigeria have joined the communities of Lagos and Ibadan respectively; Fr Martin is inducted into the field of his choice—formation, and Fr Gerard is appointed as Master of Juniors in Ibadan and will also concentrate on publishing apostolate; with their learning and vitality, the first priests of the Society of St Paul from Nigeria, will certainly be models for the young clerics of this region to persevere and to be committed in Pauline life. Fr. Sebastian Thomas has joined the community of Bengaluru as the Administrator of St Pauls College and SPICE; Fr. Sebastian comes with a lot of experience in different fields of Pauline apostolate; with his versatile talents and dynamism, the new educational institute in this garden city can grow to greater heights. Fr Joseph Tirkey has joined the community of Mumbai and will work full time in the Diffusion Department; with his docile disposition and availability, he will ensure timely and efficient service. Fr. Stephen Kollamkudy, after two years of studies, has assumed the responsibility as the Director of Good Pastor International Book Centre. With his vast experience in the Book Centre apostolate and with the added strength of his studies, he will reach our products far and wide. In London, while Fr Joshy has assumed the responsibility as the person responsible for the community, Fr. Shaiju will manage the apostolic activities in UK. We wish all of them God’s blessings and a fruitful Pauline Apostolate.
