St Pauls Church, Bengaluru, celebrated the feast of St Paul, the patron of the parish, on Sunday 2nd July. The festal Holy Mass was presided over by Fr Franklin D’Souza who in his homily exhorted the sons and daughters of St Paul (all parishioners) to walk in the footsteps of St Paul with great zeal and courage. Mass in the evening was presided over by Fr Varghese, the Superior of the Community. It was followed by the traditional car procession with a beautifully decorated statue of St Paul through the surrounding HMT Layout; the car procession which lasted for thirty minutes was participated by as many as 900 persons including priests and nuns from the neighbouring communities. The lowering of the flag which marked the conclusion of the festal celebration was officiated by Fr Jose Pottayil, the General Councillor. Congratulations to Fr Rony the Parish Priest, Fr Sebastian, the Assistant Parish Priest and to all the parishioners who made this event memorable and spiritually uplifting.
