NAVATARA’17 @ ST PAULS COLLEGE

On 15th July 2017, the senior Paulites (students of St Pauls College) of BA and BCom organized a fun-filled Freshers’ Day - Navatara’17 (news star) with varieties of innovative games and activities to honour and welcome the new students. The programme started invoking the blessing of God. While addressing the Freshers, Fr Prithvi Raj Philip, the Director of the College, said that our real strength lies not in independence but in interdependence. Each and every Paulite participated in the event with eagerness and sportive spirit. The teaching and non-teaching staff of ST PAULS COLLEGE joined in the games and competitions.  Junior Paulites exhibited their singing, dancing, mimicry and many other talents during the programme. Prunuth Kumar, a BA student, was crowned as MR Navatara’17 and Nisaraga, a BCom student, was crowned as Miss Navatara’17 for their over-all lively participation during Navatara’17. A unique fire art by Pranuth Kumar won the hearts of everyone present at the occasion. The effort and innovative day organized by the senior Paulites for their juniors was a great success. The lovely memories of the day shall remain for the years to come.
