PARTICIPATION AT CMN

The 21st annual international trade show of Catholic publishers and distributors organized by Catholic Marketing Network (CMN) began on 18th July 2017 and came to a successful completion on Friday 21st of the same month. From India-Nigeria-UK-Ireland Province, Fr Johnson Vattakunnel (Coordinator of Apostolate in Nigeria) and Fr Joby Mathew (General Editor) participated in the event.  They have made a few successful negotiations with new parties. Fr Joby reports that many catholic publishers like Tan books, Scepter Publishers, Marian Publishers etc. who do not visit Frankfurt Book Fair have agreed to begin new business association with us. Being Catholic publishers, they do have many titles that can add value to our religious category imprints. In the words of our participants: “CMN was quite productive. We have been able to meet many Catholic publishers who do not make it to Frankfurt. They are happy to work with us”. Our conferrers from Staten Island, Philippines, Australia also participated in the event and St Pauls USA had a good business at this show. There was a general feeling of productive satisfaction for all participants. We wish that this participation and new collaboration bring about greater apostolic efficacy in our province.
