MEETING OF SIGNIS-WEST@AICE, NIGERIA

Alberione Institute of Communication Education (AICE), Lagos (Nigeria), hosted the 2nd plenary meeting of Signis-West on Monday 11 September 2017. The participants of this event were Directors of Social Communications of the Catholic Provinces of Lagos and Ibadan, Catholic Media Practitioners’ Association of Nigeria (CAMPAN) and Catholic Artistes and Entertainers Association of Nigeria (CAEAN). This meeting strengthened the relationship that has just been established between AICE and the Directorate of Social Communication of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos. The collaborative efforts yielded immediate fruits for the Institute as it received free coverage of its programmes and activities by The Herald, the news bulletin of the Archdiocese of Lagos. Two pages of the latest edition of the paper (10-13 September 2017) were devoted to AICE, under the title “Special Focus”. Congratulations to Fr Jikson Mullasseril, the Director of AICE, and his team, for establishing this collaboration of Society of St Paul with the archdiocese of Lagos and for promoting our Institute of communication education.
