On 12 and 13, October 2017 ST PAULS COLLEGE hosted Second Edition of paulakala’17. The inaugural ceremony of PK was held on October 12, 2017. Fr T.C Joseph, one of the board members of ST PAULS COLLEGE graced the Art Festival as the chief guest. At the inaugural address the chief guest inspired the participants from different colleges saying, God has given unique talents to everyone and we need to identify them and exhibited creatively in a wonderful platform such as PK’17. Fr Prithvi Raj Philip, Principal of ST PAULS COLLEGE & Director of SPICE Bengaluru, Fr Sebastian Thomas, Administrator of ST PAULS COLLEGE & SPICE Bengaluru, Mr. Jenin raj, Academic Director & Literary & Cultural Coordinator of ST PAULS COLLEGE, Mr Cyril Thomas, Course Coordinator of SPICE and other dignitaries were present for Second Edition of PK’17.
paulakala’17 - Creativity Unleashed was organized in the college building as well as out-side the college as there were several events happened simultaneously. Each event brought out unique talents of the contestants from dance to the sharp thinking in the quiz. SPICE, Bangalore organized Cartooning and Short-film making workshops.
The second day of PK’17 started with the mime and concluded with nail art. ST PAULS CAMPUS was adorned with colorful artistic ST PAULS COLLEGE & SPICE, Bengaluru. VJ Vineeth from Namma Radio conducted the valedictory function. The Overall trophy for Degree was won by MLA First Grade College and the Overall champions for PU was Schoenstatt St Mary’s PU College for Women. paulakala’17 concluded with the rich experience of new friendships and bonding among students and participants.
