On Monday 30th October, taking a break from the chapter proceedings, the Capitulars of the XVIIth Provincial Chapter and the four members of the General Government went to the community of Bangalore. The members of the community and the students of SPICE/ST PAULS COLLEGE gave them a warm traditional welcome with arathi, chandan and roses. Our Aspirants, the Novices and the students of SPICE/ST PAULS COLLEGE staged a spectacular display of cultural programmes for the Chapter members. A video was presented to the gathering which gave a glimpse of activities and events that are held from the inauguration of the campus to the present day. During the function, the Superior General and his Councillors were honoured with traditional Mysore turban. Addressing the gathering, Fr Valdir reiterated the concept, how Pauline Study Centres need to become centres of ‘innovative thought process’. After the cultural evening, there was an informal interaction of the students with the General Team and a photo-session.
