STAFF WELFARE PROGRAMME & FEAST DAY CELEBRATION

Ahead of the feast of our Founder Blessed James Alberione, a half-day staff-welfare programme was organized by Michael John, the Director of Human Resource, in the Alberione Hall at St Pauls Media Complex, Mumbai, on Thursday 23^rd November. The theme of the celebration was In the footsteps of our founder Bl. James Alberione. The day began with a moment of prayer led by Fr Renold who showed through a power-point programme some glimpses of the life and mission of the Society of St Paul. Fr Plavendran, the Director of Media Education, welcomed the assembly. Fr Michael John, after expressing his heartfelt gratitude to the staff for their untiring commitment to Pauline mission, introduced Fr Saju, the new Director of Human Resource to the staff. Fr Joby Mathew, the General Editor, introduced the two resource persons of the day, Prof. Adrian Rosario and Ms Kinjal Maru (Human Resource) and the rest of the morning session was entrusted to them who conducted workshops for the staff members of the various departments highlighting the need to develop human resource skills in work places. It was an interactive and informative multi-lingual sessions on the topics: Collaboration in Mission, Business Etiquette, Motivation for Mission, etc. It was followed by a festal meal for all the staff in anticipation of the Feast of Blessed James Alberione.
