ST PAULS Carol Competition (SCC’17) was held on 3rd December 2017. This year SCC’17 was entirely organized by our own MBA Students. The participants from various Churches and Educational Institutions put forth their enthralling performances. Thirteen teams took part in SCC’17 that included St Joseph College, Christ University, Pre-University College Cluny, Mellashvaram, and choir teams from various parishes.
SCC’17 team had invited budding playback singer Ms Vaishali Hegde, Mr Clarence Allen Crasta, Music Director from Sandalwood and Fr Sebastian Thomas, Administrator ST PAULS COLLEGE & SPICE, Bengaluru, as judges for the event. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Fr Varghese Gnalian, Provincial Superior of Society of St Paul, and Fr Prithvi Raj Philip, Principal of ST PAULS COLLEGE and Director of SPICE Bengaluru. The cast and the crew of the Kannada movie 3000 were also present. Mr Keerthi James, one of the youth from St Pauls Church, who directed the film addressed the gathering and congratulated the participants.
Pre-University College Cluny Mellashvaram, which lifted the maiden ST PAULS Carol Competition Trophy in 2016, were the Winners of SCC’17 as well, and St Joseph College were the Runners up.
