Bishop Theodore Mascarenhas, Secretary General, CBCI welcomed Fr Paul Kotackal, the Superior, Delhi community and the newly appointed Communications Secretary of CBCI, Fr Renold at CBCI Centre in New Delhi.
After many deliberations between ST PAUL'S and CBCI, Fr Renold assumed his Office as Communications Secretary, CBCI Secretariat in New Delhi on 10th December. As Communications' Secretary, Fr Renold will assist CBCI Secretary General in Delhi in communications with the 14 Regional Bishops' Councils and 174 dioceses and in ensuring engagement with the media, an up-to-date and high quality website, and responsible and high quality social media presence. He will support and assist the Secretary General to develop effective communications strategies and support improved and efficient communications systems. Fr Renold will assist the CBCI Secretary General and leadership in Delhi to develop and manage communications strategies for the CBCI.
Fr Renold has already jumped into action in organizing Christmas Celebrations at CBCI with the Vice President, Shri Venkaiah Naidu and getting it covered in Nation media. He has also worked along Bishop Theodore to respond quickly to the Attacks on Seminarians and Priests at Satna. We wish the very Best to Fr Renold as he explores new pathways into the Church and St Pauls.
