It is an occasion of Grace and recognition that Paulines are being invited to be at the 33rd CBCI General Body Meeting to be organized in Bangalore in the first week of February.
The Plenary Assembly the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India is held every two years in which, this year 203 Bishops from 174 dioceses in India, together with 60 Emeritus Bishops and other expert committees would take stock of the life, activity and growth of the Catholic Church in India. The theme chosen for the Plenary this year is “United in Diversity for a Mission of Mercy and Witness”.
Fr Renold Pascal is invited to be in the Media committee who would be in-charge of Media and Communications at the Assembly, guided by Bishop Theodore Mascarenhas, the Secretary General of the CBCI. Sr Ujil Seema, PDDM, the Social Media Coordinator of the Secretariat also will be part of the General Body meeting 2018.
While we thank God, that Paulines are stepping into hierarchical church, we also pray for the success and fruitfulness of the General body meeting of the CBCI. Hearty Congratulations to Fr Renold Paschal.
