Bandra : For the third consecutive year, St Pauls Multimedia, Mumbai, did the live streaming of the Mass and Novena in preparation for the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary at Mount Mary Basilica, Bandra. According to Fr Johny Panamthanam, the Director of St Paul’s Multimedia, there were on an average about five thousand faithful from around the globe participating at the mass and novena daily which began on the 1st of September 2023. Letters, messages of appreciation and gratitude continue to come in from all parts of the world. Considering the number of the faithful participating at the mass and novena, it was also decided that the live streaming of daily mass from the Basilica would continue till the last day of the Bandra Fair, a three hundred year–old-Fair which would start on the Sunday after the 8th September and end on the Sunday following at the Mount Mary. Our Media Team consisting of Fr Johny Panamthanam and Mr Jefferson D’Souza did an excellent job in coordinating the transmission services with competence and professionalism which was very much appreciated locally and internationally. As a token of their appreciation for the services, the faithful have begun to send in donations for further development of our media apostolate. The recent addition of the latest studio equipments to our Multimedia department has certainly enhanced the quality and efficiency of the live streaming.
