Film Editing Suite at SPICE

Bandra : A new film editing suite, the latest addition to the media infrastructure at SPICE, was blessed and inaugurated by Fr. Joby Mathew, Provincial Superior, at 9.45 a.m. on Saturday, 14^th October 2023. The event was graced by the presence of Fr. Saju George, DGA, Fr. Plavendran, Director, Mr Satish Bhatia, the Programme Coordinator, Faculty members, students, and members of our community. Welcoming the audience, the Director, Fr. Plavendran said that the film editing suite is a milestone in the ever-onward journey of SPICE, embracing advanced technologies in media education. The suite is equipped with five advanced MAC computers, video editing software, and other accessories. It is to be remembered that within the short span of time, SPICE has made a name for itself among the prestigious colleges in Media education in Mumbai. This was very evident from the overwhelming response to the admissions campaign that the college undertook early this year. This has also brought before the management a variety of new challenges, such as the expansion of infrastructure, providing additional facilities for academic, cultural, and recreational activities etc. for the overall growth and development of our apostolate of media education in the Province and for the development of SPICE in particular.
