Ranchi : The 56th birthday of Fr. Fancis Dalmet, the Superior of the community of Ranchi, was celebrated with a solemn Eucharistic celebration on 1st November, 2023. The altar was richly decorated with flowers. All the Aspirants, senior members of the community and a few parishioners were present at the Eucharist. The Eucharistic Celebration began with an introduction by Fr. Prabhat Kujur, who welcomed the assembly, appreciated Fr. Farncis for being the animator of the community and requested the assembly to pray for him. The Aspirants enriched the celebration with their melodious singing.
After the Mass, a short programme was held to felicitate the Birthday baby, beginning with the cutting of the birthday cake. The day was concluded with a prayer service in the evening with a reflection on the uniqueness of life in general, highlighting the specific qualities of Fr. Francis. At the end of the prayer service, Fr. Francis thanked the Lord for all that he had received from Him. He also thanked his parents, relatives and the community for celebrating his birthday.
