Bandra : For us, Paulines, the editorial department is the nerve centre of our publishing apostolate. Both the quality and quantity of our publishing activities depend on the efficiency and professionalism with which the department works. Fr. (Dr) Sajith Cyriac, the General Editor in close collaboration with his team, makes every effort to take our publications to new heights. We have published around 56 new titles and reprinted 115 titles in 2023 to date. There are over 15 new titles that are being processed and are expected to be out in the coming months. Two notable publications in these months are CODE OF CANON LAW and CATECHISM OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. The department, in collaboration with St Pauls Biblical Centre, is also working on a new CHILDREN’S BIBLE based on NCB. The department is working on a major project titled CHRISTIANS IN INDIA: THE NATION’S VITAL ASSET under the patronage of the Archdiocese of Bombay. The editorial team, consisting of Frs. Sajith Cyriac, Jose Mathew, Vincent Kuttikatt, and Cyril Pullan, is hopeful and confident of achieving substantial growth in our publishing apostolate in the coming months.
Our Sales and Marketing department has informed us that two of our bestselling titles, namely, You Are Destined for the Skies by Fr. Alfonso Elegikal SSP and Values for Life by Dr Ignacimuthu SJ, have been selected by Ryan Group of Institutions as gift items for their outgoing students. About 10,000 copies of each of the two titles are being dispatched to their central office.
