Feast of Blessed James Alberione

The Feast of our Founder, Blessed James Alberione, was celebrated with due solemnity and traditional fervour and enthusiasm by Mumbai communities   on Saturday, 25th of November 2023.  The feast day celebration was preceded by a three day preparation jointly organized by the Pauline family in Mumbai and was conducted in our community chapel. As is our custom, Alberione Day was celebrated with our esteemed staff in our dining hall with a short and beautiful prayer service at 12.45 pm which was followed by a festive lunch prepared by our domestic staff. Prayerful moments were spent in listening to the words and message of Alberione. The delicious homemade food was well appreciated by our staff. No doubt, the joy of belonging to St Pauls was very visible on the faces of our staff as they were heading home after a memorable celebration of the Feast of Blessed Alberione. In the afternoon, we had the community celebration of the joyful event with the Members of the Pauline Family, our friends, well wishers, benefactors, collaborators and neighbours. The solemn Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Bishop AllwynD’Silva, Auxiliary Bishop of Bombay. After the Eucharistic celebration, Bishop Allwyn released the 23rd book of Fr (Dr) Sajith Cyriac entitled ‘Digital Wellness’,  ‘Called to be Salt and Light,’ the 97th book Fr (Dr) George Kaitholil and the  3rd Volume of ‘With joyful Lips’ with revised music  prepared by Fr JohnyPanamthanam, Director of  St Paul Multi-Media. The grant finale of the entire celebration was a fellow ship meal served on our lawns to all our esteemed guests.
