The community of Ranchi, celebrated the feast of Blessed James Alberione on 25 November 2023 anticipating it by a day since the solemnity of Christ the King came on the 26, the 52nd death anniversary of our Founder. It was indeed a joyful day of celebration to commemorate the life and heritage of our holy Founder and to make him known to our Aspirants. Fr. Francis Dalmet, the Superior of the community, presided over the solemn Eucharist. In his homily he explained to the assembly how Blessed Alberione courageously sailed through numerous storms in pursuit of his dream and vision of evangelization through the modern means of communication. The Holy Mass was followed by various activities aimed at fostering community spirit. Frs. Prabhat Kujur and Francis Dalmet coordinated the programme that included several friendly competitions. Shortly after the sports and games the community gathered together in the chapel for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament guided by Fr Francis. The day’s programme was concluded with a festive lunch and prize distribution to the winners.
