On the occasion of World Radio Day, celebrated annually on February 13th, a group of 22 enthusiastic students alongside two esteemed faculty members from St Pauls College for Women went on a visit to Archarya 90 FM.
This community radio station stands as a beacon of communication and connectivity, a brainchild of Dr. Yogesh Dhanjani along with N. G. Acharya & D. K. Marathe College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Chempur, Mumbai.
The students indulged themselves in awareness of community radio broadcasting, and delved into the functioning of this powerful medium and its profound impact on community engagement and knowledge dissemination. Through insightful discussions and hands-on experiences, they got a deeper understanding of how live shows and curated recorded content come to fruition, serving as catalysts for social change and cultural enrichment.
