After a gap of almost three years copies of a fully revised version of our New Community Bible have reached our warehouses both in Bengaluru and Mumbai and our Directors and Staff are busy dispatching them to our book / distribution centres across India, Nigeria, U.K. and Ireland. It was our firm commitment to guarantee that the Word of God we offer to our people is free of human errors (both grammatical and technical), elegant and attractive in its presentation, and above all to make it truly reader friendly. The new revised version of NCB is presented in 17 different editions so as to make sure that everyone has a Bible in hand according to one’s liking and handy to carry and use it as and when one wants to do so.
The present version of the NCB in 17 editions is the fruit of a remarkable joint effort between the three sectors of our apostolate namely, the Editorial, Technical and Diffusion. It is a matter of great joy and satisfaction to see the different editions of our Bible being displayed in the prominent places in all our book / distribution centres. The real challenge for us in our biblical apostolate is not so much the production of a Bible but its promotion and distribution. On this happy occasion, it is good to remind ourselves that as Paulines it is our collective responsibility to promote our Bible and make it reach to all those who thirst for the Word of God.
