The Society of St Paul, Pune, inaugurated its 15th ST PAULS BOOK FEST on 27 July 2024 at 9:00 a.m., marking the beginning of a nine-day literary extravaganza. Sr Archanj Fernandes, Principal of Stella Maris School, Vadagaon Sheri, Pune, formally inaugurated the fest in the esteemed presence of Fr Prithviraj Philip, Provincial Councilor and Director of Vocation Promotion and Formation.
In her address, Sr Archanj Fernandes stressed the significance of reading books in today's digital age, emphasizing the importance of gaining knowledge through traditional means. Fr Prithviraj Philip, the guest of honor, conveyed his sentiments, highlighting the role of reading in building knowledge and developing ideas. He further expressed his delight at the overwhelming response to the festival and said, "we are thrilled to see so many book lovers and seekers of knowledge gathered here. Our aim is to promote reading and make books accessible to everyone."
The fest offers a vast selection of books across various genres, including fiction, non-fiction, spirituality, and children's literature.
