It was another initiative taken by Fr Thomas Ramayil, the director of the circulation department, to visit some of our Catholic schools to do the promotional work of our periodicals (Inspirational Quote and Sunday Liturgy). Fr Thomas visited some schools in Mumbai in view of promoting our periodicals. The purpose of the visit was to motivate both teachers and students to subscribe for the same magazines.
He also visited a number of schools in some districts of Andhra Pradesh like Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. Recently he also visited schools in Punjab, especially in Jalandhar, Ludhiana and Amritsar. All the Principals of the schools highly appreciated the work we do through the magazine Inspirational Quote and the impact it creates in everyone, in children as well as parents.
He has received overwhelming assurance from the Principals that they would motivate the children to subscribe for it. For instance, he received 2000 subscriptions of Inspirational Quote for the month of November 2024 from a school in Punjab.
The principals are of the opinion that the reading habits of the children have gone down drastically. In spite of this drawback still subscriptions are gradually pouring in from these places. It is to be noted that the total count of subscription of IQ has risen to 11000. We are grateful to the support and encouragement of our community and the hard work of the staff of our circulation department.
